Since End of the December ´08, our company is supplied by two of this electricity generating heating in continuous operation with heat and power.
Since February 2009 field checking devices are installed close to the factory.
In the meantime, more than 25 Field checking devices are effective in use, thereof 3 in Germany and 1 in Czech. In 2011 the distribution start in Swiss and France.
The old devices exceeded already more than 8.000 operating hours!
Apart from the burner in principle both, the lion® and the bison®-Powerblock are identical in construction. Regarding operational mode almost the same technical details apply as for the lion®.
The heart of the system is the processing machine - the linator®. This is a form of an oscillating working process steam-driven 2-2-Cylinder-2-Cycle steam engine. This engine has no need for rotating parts and that explains its name linator® (Linear generator).
Button Energy developed a Biomass-boiler, which is directly linked with the boiler, supplying this system with steam and setting the today’s standard.
During boiler inspections in Wieselburg-BLT this system not only remained below the statutory limit values but also those applying for the environmental label. Ist compactness is amazing: the dead weight of burner and boiler is less than 20 kgs! It is for the first time that „thermal like“ features are possible such as the wide modulation range and the incredible fast reaction time. From ignition of fuel a flow temperature of 55°C is reached within seconds. Shortly afterwards the linator® gets into operation, it switches to the electricity grid generating power and heat at the rate of approx. 1:9
