Linator®-Technology
|
|
Linator® is an invention and development of Button Energy. After initially experimenting the functional principle was filed as patent at 7.12.2001.
The lion® and bison®-Powerblock is provied with a process steam driven double floating piston (linator®). The considerable advantages are low noise operation, low maintenance costs and long maintenance intervals. This concept has no need for rotating parts – therefore, its naming linator® (Linear generator). The vibrant frequency is specified in a number of strokes. The number of strokes of the linator® in the Powerblock is 40–75 Hz, that means approx. 2.400–4.500 strokes per minute.
Functional principle of the lion® and bison®-Powerblock
In a tube evaporator, the gas burner heats water into process steam of approx. 350 °C at a pressure of 25–30 bars. The steam enters alternating into the left and right operating cylinder of the linator®, expands thereby generating electricity by driving the armature coil, which is close-nit with the double piston, through a strong magnetic field. Electric power generated in the coil is supplied via an inverter into the network. This kind of electricity makes your electricity meter move slower.
If the linator® generates more electricity as needed the supply meter starts to work. The cooling cycle removes through a plate heat exchanger heat from the linator® transferring it to your heating- and industrial water circuit.
